Brace yourselves. What could be the most charming love story of 2025 stars Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, but they're playing robots. We'll explain.

A hit out of Sundance 2024, Love Me takes place long after humanity's time has ended on Earth. But our tech lingers behind, looking for purpose and love. Floating in oceans long devoid of ships bobs a digital buoy, voiced by the Love Lies Bleeding star. And high above orbiting the planet floats a satellite, voiced by Beef's leading man. Together they begin a curious relationship, trying to understand this world and their place within it by — what else — looking at the internet.

Written and directed by Sam Zuchero and Andy Zuchero, Love Me is a unique drama about love, life, an identity that's intriguing far beyond its heady tech premise. Through exploring our human fascination with social media, influencers, and avatars, this tender romance looks to understand who we are beyond our online personas. And trust someone who's seen it — this is pretty spectacular.

Love Me debuts only in theaters Jan. 31.
