The latest trailer for Love, Simon comes with an important disclaimer: "It's about to get romantic as F."

Based off of the hit YA novel Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli, Love, Simon follows Simon Spier, a 17-year-old high school student who says he has the typical teenage experience except for one big secret: He's gay.

When a fellow classmate discovers and blackmails Simon about Simon's online romance with a anonymous pen pal named "Blue," Simon must find the courage to present his true self to the world, all the while still trying maintain the romance he so desperately wants.

"I deserve a great love story, and I want someone to share it with."

In the new trailer, Love, Simon showcases not just Simon's quest for love, but also the romantic questions of the rest of his friends too, all of whom are grappling crushes, romances, and the tricky struggle of navigating relationships in high school.

Love, Simon stars Nick Robinson (Everything, Everything), Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why), Josh Duhamel, and Jennifer Garner. It premieres in theaters on March 16.
