34-year-old tennis star and self-confessed "tough cookie" Mirjana Lucic-Baroni isn't one to mince words.
She was happy AF on Monday, having just defeated 21-year-old Jennifer Brady at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Why is that so significant? Well, it marks the first time Lucic-Baroni has made it into last eight at a Grand Slam in 18 years. All hail the comeback Queen!
Naturally, the champ was asked what advice she might have for those in search of such long fought-for success.
Lucic-Baroni cut straight to the point. "Eff everything and f everybody who ever tells you you can't do it," she said, self-censoring so as not to be slapped with a fine.
"Just show up and do it with your heart," she added, to huge cheers from the crowd.
What a perfect personal mantra. And it's adaptable for just about every situation.
