There's no CGI in this 'Mad Max: Fury Road' video and it's off the chain

No CGI artists were harmed in the making of this video. The same might not be said of the stunt actors.

George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road wasn't heralded as a cinematic masterpiece because of it's subtlety or understatement. The film was gripping and explosive, and so much of that on-screen dynamism could be taken for granted by the viewer; until now.

A production video has surfaced showing just how real Miller's film is.

The four-minute video is a super-cut of pre-production test shoots and raw, untouched stunts showing the spectacular and epic lengths the filmmaker went to to give his audience the exhilarating, terrifying and breathtaking two-and-a-half-hour-long car chase that is Mad Max: Fury Road.

You've gotta hand it to Miller and the team behind what was arguably one of the greatest films of the last decade. Such a large amount of action happening in real time, explosions, car flips, flame throwers and all, has a lasting impact for a cinema audience so used to the CGI action of contemporary Hollywood.
