Nigel Williamson of Nigel's Animal Rescue in Victoria, Australia is the saviour of injured and trapped wildlife, offering a helping hand wherever he's needed.

One such rescue he uploaded to Facebook Wednesday is so lovely it might make you cry.

After several unanswered calls to "wildlife people" for help, he posted, Williamson was called in to free a trapped magpie. As Williamson approaches the bird, which appears to be jammed in the guttering of a house, he reflects with an inimitable Australian twang, "That's not a good place for you to be matey, no it's not."

In another video, Williamson rescues a score of baby ducks from a drainage system. And all because he is the greatest human to ever roam this big blue spec suspended in space.
