Blogger Nick Griemsmann was playing weatherman during an intense thunderstorm in Arizona recently when the job got a little too real.

Griemsmann was showing off the wind and rain on the live streaming app Periscope when a burst of lightning struck extremely nearby, knocking the phone straight out of his hand.

"Wow! That thing hit, like, right next to me," Griemsmann says."Whew! That was fun."

We wish Griemsmann the best of luck in his new career.
