The newest trailer for Netflix's Maniac confirms Emma Stone and Jonah Hill aren't revisiting their Superbad days—but they are jumping around to plenty of other universes.

Under the influence of a mysterious drug trial, Stone and Hill are seen taking a spooky woodland stroll with Great Gatsby vibes, making a home (and a mullet) in Goon territory, present at a Captain America-esque war tribunal, valiantly hunting something or someone in an homage to Lord of the Rings, crushing a miniature town a la Hereditary, and also doing something with a purple koala/muppet? Maybe?

While we don't anticipate any direct references to other worlds, Maniac's trailer provides an interesting sneak peek into the mind-bending miniseries. Based off of a Norwegian television series of the same name, Maniac follows patients Annie Landsberg (Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Hill) as they attempt to answer one creepy question: "What do you think is wrong with you?"

Maniac starts streaming September 21.
