Finally recovered from the trauma brought on by The Haunting of Hill House?

Well, terrible news! Netflix has a brand new horror series that looks every bit as nightmare-inducing.

Marianne tells the story of a novelist who writes books in an attempt to protect herself from a witch that has shadowed her since childhood. Judging by the trailer above it will contain the tried and tested mix of nightmares, demonic possession, and jump scares aplenty.

Get those cushions ready.

Marianne drops on Netflix Sept.12.
