Mark Zuckerberg admits his personal data was compromised by 'malicious' actors

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday for a second day of congressional testimony over the social network's handling of user data.

The hearing opened with members of the House of Representatives asking Mr. Zuckerberg questions during allotted four-minute segments. The time limit given to each representative mostly prohibited them from getting good detail from the Facebook founder.

But in a brief moment of relief, Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA), who represents California's Palo Alto area, where many of the largest tech companies are headquartered, asked a revelatory question about Zuckerberg's own personal information.

"Was your data included in the data sold to the malicious third-parties? Your personal data?" she asked.

"Yes," Zuckerberg responded.

Of course, there wasn't any time to expound on the question, but the admission alone was enough to shock many who've been following this ongoing saga. It goes to show you that even Mark Zuckerberg isn't safe from the monster he's created.
