Post-Endgame, Marvel's Avengers are back — this time, in the world of gaming.

During the Square Enix E3 press conference on Monday night, Marvel Games and Crystal Dynamics dropped a first trailer for the highly-anticipated Marvel's Avengers, an action-adventure game set to show players "what it's like to be Earth's mightiest heroes."

Set in San Francisco, the trailer shows core Avengers — Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor — saving civilians from a collapsing Golden Gate Bridge. However, when the rescue goes awry, the superhero group is blamed for the destruction and forcibly disbanded by the U.S. government.

When a new threat faces the planet years later, the heroes must reassemble, with players leading the way in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Marvel's Avengers is available on Xbox, PS4, Stadia, and PC starting May 15, 2020.
