In 2023, Celine Song captivated audiences (and broke our hearts) with her Academy Award-nominated debut feature Past Lives. Now, the acclaimed writer and director looks to deliver another swoon-worthy love triangle with her second film, Materialists.

Distributed by A24, Materialists stars three of the world's buzziest stars: Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal. Johnson plays Lucy, a matchmaker and "eternal bachelorette" who helps couples find their happily ever after, while figuring she has no shot at her own. That all changes when not one but two potential suitors crash into her life.

In one corner we have Harry (Pascal), an incredibly attractive, incredibly rich bachelor who looks to sweep Lucy off her feet. But could this perfect "unicorn" be too good to be true?

In the other corner we have John (Evans), Lucy's (also incredibly attractive) ex-boyfriend. He's a theater actor by night and a cater waiter by day, and he seems determined to make things right with Lucy in a second go at their relationship. However, based on an argument in the trailer above, it seems like the two initially broke up over money concerns — something Harry would never have to worry about.

So will Lucy choose Harry and his riches, or John and her past? Either way, we can't wait to witness another Celine Song love triangle.

Materialists hits theaters June 13.
