'SNL' Weekend Update ponders why QAnon is so quiet about Matt Gaetz

There are suspicions that the Florida congressman is connected to a child sex trafficking operation. Isn't rooting that out QAnon's whole thing?

The Saturday Night Live Weekend Update crew obviously had some things to say about Matt Gaetz's seemingly looming legal troubles. But he's such a difficult target to resist that co-host Colin Jost brought the segment back to the Florida congressman after the focus shifted to other matters.

The highlight is when Jost makes the blindingly obvious observation that QAnon adherents have been strangely silent about the Gaetz allegations — which include sex trafficking and sex with an underage girl — when their whole, entire movement is founded on the idea that many Democrats and so-called "elites" are cannibalistic Satan worshippers in charge of a global child sex trafficking ring.

I guess it's only a problem for Democrats, not Republican, when actual allegations emerge which are basically that. (The last part only, that is. At this time no one is alleging that Gaetz worships Satan or dines on human flesh.)
