Mean Girls is a stealth musical no more.

The final trailer for the film adaptation of the 2018 stage musical (based in turn on Tina Fey's 2004 classic teen film) finally wears its Broadway roots on its sleeve.

Reneé Rapp's Regina George croons her introduction, Bond-theme style. Cady Heron (Angourie Rice), Gretchen Weiners (Bebe Wood), and Karen Shetty (Avantika) have their share of musical fantasies and dance breaks. And of course, it wouldn't be Mean Girls without its fair share of catty quips and gleeful revenge plots — this time delivered in song!

Mean Girls hits theaters Jan. 12.
