Megyn Kelly explains why she's speaking out about Bill O'Reilly and Fox News
Watch Next

Earlier in the week, Megyn Kelly responded to Bill O'Reilly's claims that he's never had a complaint filed against him by a co-worker -- by confirming that she herself had complained about him to the presidents of Fox News.

On Wednesday night, she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers and explained why she decided to speak out.

"It was the combo of him saying that and the news that he had paid $32 million to settle a claim," Kelly says in the clip above.

"Litigations happen all the time. A lot of them are nonsense, and you pay some small amount to make them go away -- $32 million is a different story. And he was renewed at the company after he did that.

"Fox says it didn't know; the question remains why didn't they?"
