Hey, did you know Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks are good at acting?

Here's even more proof of their chops. The two pals, who are currently promoting The Post, unveiled some extremely solid impressions of each other's most iconic characters on Tuesday's episode of Ellen.

We're talking Streep as Forrest Gump. Hanks as Margaret Thatcher. Streep as Woody from Toy Story. A delightfully icy Hanks as Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada.

Let's be honest -- most talk show appearances are extremely boring, but these are great. Are there, like, talk show Oscars we can give these two or something? It seems like they need more awards.
