They just couldn't catch a break. Or break the latch.

To be fair, doors are tricky things to kick down.

On Friday night's Late Late Show Michael Fassbender and James Corden got to play badass SWAT-team officers. Well, for a couple of seconds anyway.

The pair came up against some heavy resistance in the form of a door. They kick it over and over, hoping to break it down, but to little avail. They take a couple breaks for a cup of tea, a sing-song and to snap a pic for Instagram.

Finally, after much huffing and puffing (and not to mention a few splinters) the two manage to bust in the door by using the power of teamwork. However, their criminal target slinks off unnoticed while they do a victory dance.

Don't worry boys, you can just stick to being international celebrities.
