Michelle Obama's bestselling memoir Becoming separated the story of her life into three sections: Becoming Me, Becoming Us, and Becoming More.

The Netflix documentary Becoming consists of footage taken from her 34-city book tour, and going by this first trailer the focus seems very much on "Becoming More." In brief flashes of footage, Obama speaks to young women in small rooms, sits in front of arena crowds, and continues to tell her story "unplugged for the first time."

Becoming premieres on Netflix May 6th.
