She’s talking about her g-g-g-generation!

Singer-songwriter, Miley Cyrus, gave a much needed lesson on The Ellen Show in a segment called “Mileyennials and Me.” Ellen DeGeneres wanted to try to understand millennials and who better to school her about generation Y than the "Wrecking Ball" singer?

During the segment, DeGeneres asked why exactly do millennials post pictures of food on Instagram, what’s the deal with Coachella, and of course, the new millennial dance craze. DeGeneres also added a relatable part to the segment in which her and the singer are both on their phones and silent.

Cyrus patiently explained that food is a celebration of life, “dirty music festivals,” are the place to be seen and take selfies. And, at the end of the segment, Cyrus teaches DeGeneres the latest millennial dance move which is actually named after the talk show host.

Admit it, we’ve all done “The Ellen.”
