Big budget sci-fi is all well and good, but sometimes you just need one actor and one location to create a creepy atmosphere.
This is certainly the case in the trailer for Matt Vesely and Lucy Campbell's Monolith, a claustrophobic-looking story about a disgraced journalist (Lily Sullivan) who retreats to her parents' house to host a new podcast — a deep dive into a weird global conspiracy that starts to bleed into her real life.
Monolith is in cinemas and on video on-demand Feb. 16.
