The official trailer for Mothers' Instinct is here, showing Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway face off in a tense psychological thriller focusing on friendship and motherhood.

A remake of 2018 Belgian film of the same name, Mothers' Instinct follows '60s housewives Alice (Chastain) and Céline (Hathaway). As best friends as well as neighbours, the two raise their young sons alongside each other in what appears to be the perfect suburban life.

However, the women's close relationship quickly deteriorates after an tragic accident befalls Céline's son, as accusations, guilt, and fear destroy their bond and pit the two former friends against each other.

A release date has not yet been announced.
