The yearning. The courtship. The scandal. Our favorite kind of Regency romance is returning soon thanks to Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

The tell-all prequel to Netflix's Bridgerton explores Queen Charlotte's (India Amarteifio) youth, including her marriage to King George (Corey Mylchreest) that shook their society and built the world of the Ton. As Charlotte grapples with her newfound role, she also navigates falling in love, with the prequel's trailer promising everything you'd want from another Bridgerton binge.

The cast also includes Arsema Thomas as a young Lady Danbury, with Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, and Ruth Gemmell reprising their roles from the original Netflix series: Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury, and Lady Bridgerton, respectively.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story waltzes into Netflix on May 4.
