Who is Nick Brewer?

In the teaser for Netflix's Clickbait, we're introduced to this husband, father, brother, and friend (Adrian Grenier), but things quickly take a dark turn. Nick disappears, resurfacing in an online video with a sign that says "I abuse women. At 5 million views, I die."

Tony Ayres created and executive produced the eight-episode series, which costars Zoe Kazan as Nick's sister and Betty Gabriel as his wife. As the search for Nick wears on, the view count keeps ticking toward his uncertain fate.

Clickbait premieres on Netflix August 25.
