Netflix drops cheeky comedy trailer with Rashida Jones and 'black-ish' creator

Kenya Barris, creator of black-ish, has taken his talents to Netflix with a new original series. In the trailer for #blackaf, Barris plays a husband and father not unlike black-ish's Andre Johnson (whom he also modeled on his own experience), with a new partner in crime: Rashida Jones.

There are notes of the Johnsons throughout as Barris' family takes on awkward dinners, pool parties, and other interactions in a predominantly white L.A. social scene. But the mockumentary styling and Netflix freedom promise Barris' unfiltered take on the family comedy — as the name itself suggests.

#blackaf hits Netflix April 17.
