There have been plenty of heist movies, and plenty of movies and TV shows involving a hijacked plane — but have both ever been done at the same time?

That's the premise for Netflix's Lift, written by Daniel Kunka and shot by The Fate of the Furious director F. Gary Gray, which sees expert thief Cyrus Whittaker (Kevin Hart) organising the mid-air theft of $100 million in gold from a moving passenger plane. What could possibly go wrong?

Lift also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D'Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, and Sam Worthington.

How to watch: Lift lands on Netflix on Jan. 12.
