Netflix drops charming first look at Mindy Kaling comedy 'Never Have I Ever'

High school can be tricky, but at the end of the day, most of our desires are simple: to party, to have thinner arm hair, and to get a boyfriend, as long as he's a stone-cold hottie. She might be praying to an assortment of Hindu gods, but Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), star of Netflix and Mindy Kaling's Never Have I Ever, wants the same things as any TV teen.

As she mentions in the trailer, the last year of Devi's life got a little out-of-hand, but she's ready to hold her head up and move forward, as long as the path ahead includes parties with alcohol and boyfriend candidates not from her AP classes.

Never Have I Ever hits Netflix April 27.
