One of the forgiving things about Daredevil Season 2 was Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher. In his upcoming standalone series, we dive deep into Castle's haunting past. His family was killed, ostensibly to get to him, and now he's on a mission to destroy everyone who was part of the plot -- to punish them, brutally.
The Punisher costars Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen from Marvel’s Daredevil), Ben Barnes (Westworld), Amber Rose Revah (Emerald City), Michael Nathanson (The Knick, Wolf of Wall Street), Jaime Ray Newman (Bates Motel), Jason R Moore (A Lonely Place for Dying), Daniel Webber (11.22.63) and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie).
The Punisher does not yet have a release date, but will arrive on streaming in 2017.
