If you're into British psychological thriller films, this one's for you.

With a trailer dropped by Netflix on Thursday, The Strays is the feature debut of writer-director-playwright Nathaniel Martello-White, who also starred in Steve McQueen's Small Axe: Mangrove, Deceit, and I Hate Suzie.

The film brings serious Jordan Peele's Get Out vibes to the trailer, centring on a British private school teacher, a woman of colour, who lives in a predominantly white neighbourhood, but begins to feel her identity, code-switching, and sense of reality shifting with the arrival of two newcomers.

The Strays stars County Lines and Revenge star Ashley Mandekwe, Rocks star Bukky Bakray, Stephen's Jorden Myrie, Bonus Track's Samuel Small, and newcomer Maria Almeida.

The Strays is coming to Netflix soon.
