The Zodiac killer, the pseudonym for an unidentified serial killer who murdered at least five people in late 1960s San Francisco, has long held a fascination with filmmakers and the public.

So it's no big surprise that Netflix — with its extensive, and sometimes ethically questionable true crime obsession — is jumping on the case with a new documentary. The three-part This is the Zodiac Speaking focusses on Arthur Leigh Allen, the only suspect ever named by police, presenting what the streamer describes as "never before seen evidence" from family friends and a family who once had Allen as a teacher.

This is the Zodiac Speaking is streaming on Netflix from Oct. 23.
