Netflix has shared the first glimpse of its Yu Yu Hakusho live-action remake.

The adaption of the beloved Japanese manga series stars Takumi Kitamura as, Yusuke Urameshi, the delinquent teenager turned spirit detective. In the trailer, the story kicks off as the spirit world saves Yusuke's life in exchange for investigating paranormal crimes in the human world.

In the original story, Yusuke is eventually joined by friends from the spirit world, who also feature in the trailer — Jun Shison as Kurama, Kanata Hongo as Hiei, and Shuhei Uesugi as Kuwabara. The trailer is full of plenty of fighting with demons, as well as some bad wigs that have already been called out.

Yu Yu Hakusho starts streaming on Netflix on Dec. 14.
