Get ready to journey to Arrakis.
The epic main trailer for Denis Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel Dune shows off the desert planet in all its glory. We catch glimpses of its massive sandworms and the all-important spice Melange (a drug that is necessary for interstellar travel).
We also meet the forces seeking to control it: House Atreides, sent by the Emperor to rule Arrakis; House Harkonnen, their menacing foes; and the Fremen, Arrakis's native people who have watched outsiders ravage their planet. At the center of it all is Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), whose prescient dreams hint at a destiny far beyond his understanding.
Chalamet is joined by an all-star cast including Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
Dune hits theaters and HBO Max on Oct. 22, 2021.
