After the bittersweet, blood-soaked elegy that was Logan, it kinda feels like X-Men universe could use some fresh blood.

Luckily, New Mutants is just around the corner.

The new X-Men spinoff puts a much more youthful spin on that familiar franchise, focusing on a small group of superpowered teenagers played by Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), and Blu Hunt (The Originals).

Director Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) describes it as, essentially, "Stephen King meets John Hughes." Which is a really promising description, if you ask us! It's just too bad we'll have to wait 'til April 13, 2018 to see New Mutants in theaters.
