With the heartbreaking split of the band, One Direction tribute acts have been on the rise.

In the video above, Nick Grimshaw orchestrates a prank during a BBC Radio 1 interview in which Niall Horan has to chat with Liam the Niall Horan impersonator. As soon as the call starts, awkward hilarity ensues. Horan grills the impersonator, asking him about his favorite band member, what he honestly thinks about Niall, and if he can sing a few bars.

The prank elicits cringey laughter, especially when Liam the impersonator starts singing... poorly. Thankfully, it ends with a good-natured laugh when Horan reveals himself. I think it's safe to say Liam will not be coming up to London for that gig.
