Jumpy psychological horror 😬

This one looks like a solid candidate to join the ranks of our scariest films on Shudder list.

Kjersti Helen Rasmussen's Nightmare follows Mona (Eili Harboe) and Robbie (Herman Tømmeraas), a couple who get their new house cheap because – you guessed it – someone died there. Soon, when Robbie goes away for work, Mona begins having nightmares about him that are a little bit too realistic.

Judging by the trailer and its A Nightmare on Elm Street-adjacent premise, this one will feature psychological jump scares aplenty.

Nightmare is streaming on Shudder from Sept. 29.
