Nikki Glaser's Golden Globes 2025 hosting wasn't just about the brutal opening monologue — there was also a (very brief) Pope-themed musical number.

In the clip above Glaser dons a mitre and starts to sing before suddenly turning her back to the audience and touching her ear piece.

"Oh sorry, what? Wait, this sucks?" she whispers. "This whole thing sucks? I'm embarrassing myself in front of Elton John? OK let's skip to the next song, the TV one about The Penguin. Er, 'Insane in the Peng-wayne'? That sucks too? And no-one says 'Penguin' that way?"
