The New Zealand police force just cannot stop dancing.

First they invented the running man challenge, then they began elevator music-making in the new of recruitment. Now? Just breaking out into a couple of fully-choreographed Bollywood routines.

Members of the Christchurch Police took to the stage at the Christchurch Diwali Festival of Lights with a move-for-move recreation of dance numbers from popular Bollywood films; and the crowd absolutely loved it.

Chris Lynch of News Talk ZB uploaded the footage to Facebook showing the law enforcers taking to the stage to show off their renditions of Salman Khan's "Thana Me Baithe On Duty" from the movie Dabangg and "Baby ko Bass Pasand Hai" from the film Sultan.

The performance made up part of Christchurch's Diwali Festival of Light.

Like most dance troupes there was one clear star, but we'll let you decide for yourself who the real stand-out was.
