President Barack Obama was in good spirits when he stepped up to the podium at the annual gathering, joking that "the end of the Republic has never looked better." In the video above, you can watch the whole thing.
Obama pulled no punches during his half-hour speech, targeting everything from Hillary Clinton's ill-conceived racial joke to the hard-hitting journalism showcased in Spotlight ("the best fantasy since Star Wars"). He even addressed his own troubles with appointing a Supreme Court justice, which included a perfectly crafted Game of Thrones nod.
