Get into the festive spirit with the trailer for Netflix's 'Over Christmas'
Watch Next

If you're feeling like getting into the festive spirit a little earlier this year, you're not the only one.

To help you get there is a new Netflix trailer for German Christmas original series Over Christmas. Simply put, it looks like a lot of fun and a great distraction from, ya know, everything.

Bastian (Luke Mockridge) is having a hard time. He's going through a tough breakup. His musical career is going...not so great. Then he goes home to his parents' house, where he discovers — spoiler alert — his brother is dating his ex-girlfriend. Nice! Just when it seems the holidays are ruined, Bastian's mum steps in and yells, "It's Christmas, damn it!"

The drama doesn't end there. Next grandma shows up and brings...a new energy to the party. Don't worry, though, things soon turn around for Basti. Christmas might just be saved, after all.

Over Christmas comes to Netflix Nov. 27.
