Maybe having an owl as the ring bearer of an indoor wedding wasn't the best idea.

The bride at this wedding really, really likes owls, so the couple decided to incorporate the majestic bird into their ceremony, according to the YouTube description.

Now the owl, named Max, was supposed to deliver the rings, but instead Max saw an opportunity at freedom, and flew into the large window above the couple.

It's unclear if Max was OK, but we're hooting for him.

UPDATE: April 15, 2016, 7:11 p.m. EDT Viral Hog updated its video description to say that Max is totally OK.
