For the love of God, Peru, please look after this bear.

Marmalade sandwiches at the ready — Paddington is back, and he's returning to Peru. But first, according to the new trailer, he needs a passport photo — and he's pretty terrible at most basic tasks. Hard relate, Paddo.

Paddington in Peru, the third installment of the Paddington film empire, sees Ben Whishaw return to voice the titular bear. This time, the Brown family is heading from London to Paddington's home country of Peru, where Aunt Lucy is living in Lima at the — wait for it — Home for Retired Bears. ;-; But where is she? Looks like the family will have to track down the missing matriarch.

New additions to the cast including Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas, two names that will get me to the box office any day.

The film started filming last April, with Dougal Wilson taking over directorial duties from Paddington and Paddington 2 director Paul King. King has a story credit and is listed as an exec producer; this is Wilson's feature film debut.

Paddington in Peru hits UK cinemas on Nov. 8 and will premiere in the U.S. on Jan. 17, 2025.
