After releasing a teaser for Patriots Day last month, CBS Films and Lionsgate have finally dropped the full trailer for Peter Berg's drama about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
Mark Wahlberg leads an ensemble cast that includes John Goodman, Kevin Bacon, J.K. Simmons and Michelle Monaghan. He plays a cop on the hunt for the Tsarnaev brothers, who perpetrated the devastating act of domestic terrorism.
A powerful story of a community’s courage in the face of terror, Patriots Day could find itself a dark horse in this year's awards race when it opens in Boston, New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 21. The film will be released nationwide on Jan. 13.
