Sony revealed the upcoming PlayStation 5 user interface Thursday, giving the world its first look at the crisp home screen and some helpful new game features integrated into the console.

The home screen and menus have received a bit of an overhaul making many features more easily accessible to users, like the store. Instead of needing to open up a store application like on the PS4, the store is built right into the home menu on PS5.

Along with the new home menu, the PS5 also includes a new feature for PlayStation Plus members where if they're stuck in a game, they can look up tips and helpful videos right from the console's menu without fully exiting out of the game. On the more social side, there's a new feature that allows two players to share their screens with each other in a little picture-in-picture window, which I could see as a fun way to connect with friends distantly while playing the same single player game.

The PlayStation 5 first hits shelves (and doorsteps) on Nov. 12.
