There's nothing worse than finding out your best friend in high school was actually a 67-year-old Irishman pretending to be a high school senior, is there?

Well, that's exactly what happens in the new sketch from Saturday Night Live's resident comedy trio Please Don't Destroy. In the pre-recorded sketch, Brendan Gleeson plays Tommy, who reveals his shocking secret to the boys (Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy). Tommy is not a 17-year-old on track to go to Penn State — he's an Irishman with a wife and 13 kids.

Of course, obvious questions must be asked like, "Tommy why are you in high school?" and "But you were taking drugs in class." And the answers, respectively are "I don't know, I felt lost and I watched Gossip Girl and it seemed kind of fun," and "Those were blood thinners."

Every line in the sketch is absolutely killer, so check it out. It's nice to see Please Don't Destroy out of the office for once.
