Ash and Pikachu's relationship began in the Kanto region over 20 years ago, and you'll be able to relive it this November in theaters across the U.S.

Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! takes the first 80 episodes of the anime series and condenses them into a feature-length movie, which will be coming to select theaters on Nov. 5 and 6 through Fathom Events. Attendees with the latest Pokémon Sun and Moon games for the 3DS can get one of six special Pikachus in their game with a unique QR code.

Fans of the original series will be disappointed to find that two of the series' biggest characters, Brock and Misty, will not be making an appearance in the movie, which is honestly a huge mistake.
