The Connective Project is celebrating Prospect Park's 150th anniversary by filling the Rose Garden with more than 7,000 pinwheels. Local communities were asked to submit artwork and messages about what the park means to them. Each pinwheel is handcrafted and made with materials that are weather-resistant.
Visitors can also make their own pinwheels and add it to the collection.
