Yellow Purple, aka Purps the Penguin, is a 23-year-old African penguin that was injured on her left leg in 2011. Now, thanks to Mystic Middle School, Mystic Aquarium and ACT Group, Purps has a 3D printed boot.

The touching video explains the process behind creating the boot for Purps and how the students learned to use 3D printing systems to design the piece for the endangered penguin. Thanks to their efforts, Purps can now waddle on in life without much problem.
