Kwik Fit may have just produced one of the most fitting tributes to the Queen who turns 90 on Thursday. The monarch, who is arguably Britain's most famous mechanic, served during World War II as a mechanic and driver.

The portrait, which is created entirely out of car and truck parts, features over 800 components, including spark plugs for the crown and headlight reflectors for the earrings.

Weighing 115kg it took four Kwik Fit staff over 280 hours to complete the monarch's mechanical mirror image.
