The official trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming sci-fi show Raised By Wolves has arrived, and it looks extremely Ridley Scott.

Not to be confused with the CBS comedy pilot previously titled Please Hold for Frankie Wolfe, HBO Max's 10-episode series follows two androids — Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim) — who are raising human children on a strange, largely unexplored planet. Things inevitably go wrong, though, and their peace is threatened.

The Raised By Wolves' trailer looks to have many of the hallmarks of Scott's previous work: A wiry, active female protagonist; clambering, humanoid monsters; even more humanoid androids; and an uncomfortable relationship with motherhood.

Scott is one of six executive producers on the series, including creator Aaron Guzikowski, but it is also his directorial debut for an American television series. The Alien and Blade Runner director helmed the show's first two episodes, which will hopefully get it off to a good start.

Raised By Wolves premieres on HBO Max September 3.
