Nothing is more awkward than not knowing when to go for a handshake or a hug when congratulating someone.
One such moment played out right on stage at the 2019 Golden Globes, when Nicole Kidman presented an award to Rami Malek and the rest of the cast of Bohemian Rhapsody.
As Malek reached out to thank Kidman for the award, she promptly turned her back on him and very much left him hanging.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Malek visibly cringed as he watched a clip of the moment. But he went on to laugh and explain that he has in fact known Kidman for "many years."
