Rebel Wilson roasts royal family and all-male shortlist during brutal BAFTAs speech

If you thought Brad Pitt's BAFTAs joke about Prince Harry was awkward, just wait until you see the first 30 seconds of Rebel Wilson's speech.

"It is really great to be here at the royal Andrew, er, royal Harry – no, sorry – um, royal Phil... at this royal palace place," says Wilson, moments before the camera cuts to a mildly tense-looking Prince William and Kate Middleton in the front row.

Wilson didn't stop there, either. "Sam Mendes, Martin Scorcese, Todd Phillips, Quentin Tarantino, Bong Joon-Ho," she says later, reading out the nominees for Best Director. "I look at the exceptional, daring talent nominated in this category, and I just... I don't think I could do what they do.

"Honestly, I just don't have the balls."

Boom.
