The age of outlaws is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean you're going soft in in Red Dead Redemption II.

In the first gameplay trailer for RDR2, developer Rockstar Games went in-depth with what to expect in its upcoming wild west game where you'll play as Arthur Morgan, an outlaw heading up a gang of less-than-savory folk.

As you explore the untamed land and run into interesting characters, you'll be in charge of your gang, deciding what missions to go on, and even taking care of your horses so that they don't buck when you try to ride them. More details about combat and missions (including train heists) will be coming with another gameplay video that Rockstar teased.

Red Dead Redemption II saunters onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 26.
